show: only friends

I was reading an article about Facebook the other day. Funny how we like to display our lives and make our thoughts and feelings available to whoever might be interested. We indeed grant "the world a front row seat to all of our interests" (Time Magazine - May 31st 2010)

Now Facebook users are getting more and more annoyed by the fact that they have no clear control on their "privacy settings". Well, there's one thing I'd actually like to tell them:

Hey, why the FacebooK did you create a FB account in the first place?! Would an exhibitionist file a complaint against a primary school headmaster because too many 7-year-old kids have seen his dick? If you don't want your dick to be seen, well, put it back where it belongs and pull the zipper up...

One great thing about this blog: no privacy settings needed. Everything I write here is just completely available to (and wonderfully ignored by) anybody - anybody here being just me and a couple of poor lonesome internet wanderers who accidentally (and regrettably) ended up on these pages over the past few weeks. Quick reminder of my stunning statistics as of today: 3 visitors, among which 1 visitor is votre serviteur...
